Arnd Hanisch cycled 1800 km from Karlsruhe to Stockholm, crossing Germany, Denmark and Sweden. Despite technical problems with his bike and long, exhausting days, he successfully completed the tour. He mostly spent the night in a tent, enjoyed local specialties and appreciated the encounters with helpful people. The trip was a sporting and sustainable challenge for him, which he experienced as a great personal enrichment.
