With the China Competence Platform, ICoP provides up-to-date and relevant information on developments in China and, in cooperation with other specialist departments at KIT, offers comprehensive advice on initiating, developing, evaluating or terminating collaborations.
To this end, KIT has established a detailed process for advising and formally reviewing cooperation and recruitment requests from international institutions, particularly from China.
KIT is also intensively involved in state-wide and national discussion rounds and further training on this topic (Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Federal Foreign Office, Helmholtz Association, DAAD, HRK, TU9, universities in the state of Baden-Württemberg, association of China centers at German universities) in order to provide the best possible care in this area.
