Target group: Administrative and academic staff from the member universities: Basel, Freiburg, Haute-Alsace, Strasbourg, and KIT

This workshop is designed for administrative and academic staff of Eucor – The European Campus, the tri-national university alliance along the Upper Rhine. It is aimed at staff from the member universities: Basel, Freiburg, Haute-Alsace, Strasbourg, and KIT. After a shared lunch snack, the focus will be on interculturality in the German-French-Swiss border region.

Participants will explore the fundamentals of self-perception and perception of others, and analyze everyday and professional situations from a German-French perspective. In addition, practical exercises on intercultural cooperation will be offered. Participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and jointly develop strategies to avoid conflicts and misunderstandings and to integrate these effectively into their professional routines.

The workshop will be held in both German and French and is organized in cooperation with the Centre Culturel Franco-Allemand Karlsruhe Foundation.

Language level: B1 or higher in both languages
