Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, Central Asia
Since the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, KIT has terminated all institutional cooperation with Russian partners. This includes suspending all projects, collaborations, and exchange programs with Russian research institutions and universities. As a member of the German Research Foundation, KIT strongly stands in solidarity with Ukraine and is firmly committed to strengthening contacts and cooperation with Ukrainian partners at all levels.
Furthermore, countries in the South Caucasus and Central Asia are increasingly gaining importance as partners. For example, in developing joint solutions for global challenges in energy and climate policy.
