Have you captured special moments during your stay abroad and would like to share them with others? Take part in the “My stay abroad” photo competition! Whether as part of an international exchange program, an internship abroad or a research stay - we are looking for authentic and special impressions from all over the world that reflect your experiences abroad.

Conditions of participation:

All students, researchers and employees of KIT who have participated in an international program in the last two years (from March 2023) are eligible to participate. You can submit up to three photos. The photos must be submitted in high resolution to ensure good print quality (at least 150 dpi, ideally 300 dpi, e.g. Full HD with 1920 x 1080 pixels). Accepted file formats are JPEG and PNG.

The submitted photos should show special experiences of your stay abroad - be it an impressive landscape, a cultural event, a culinary moment or a selfie in front of a famous landmark. Please note that all image content must be legally unobjectionable and that you have the image rights and the consent of all recognizable persons for publication.

Prizes:

The best photos have the chance to win great prizes! You can win:

- 1x An Interrail voucher

- 2x A voucher for photo prints

- 2x A voucher for a travel bookstore

Exhibition:

The best entries will be exhibited during the International Days in May 2025, both on site and in an online gallery on the KIT website. A jury will select the winners in April 2025. The winners will be announced on May 8th at the International Days. The exhibition will be supplemented with a short description of the photos (title, location, year, background story).
