What do I have to do?

In many cities with good universities it is difficult to find an accommodation. This is also the case in Karlsruhe. Therefore, please start looking for an accommodation early. You can get help in Karlsruhe at the Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe. There is also a housing scout here who helps in case of emergency. Outside of Karlsruhe it is easier to find an accommodation. Fortunately, Karlsruhe has a very good transportation system. Therefore, you can get to KIT quickly by bus or streetcar even from far away. The Deutschlandticket is currently available. With this ticket you can use most trains throughout the whole of Germany. Students can order the ticket at KVV.
