Welcome at KIT: Welcome Event for International Students

In mid-April, KIT welcomed its new international students. In the three-hour event, they received the most important information about studying and living in Karlsruhe in lectures and at booths of various KIT facilities.

Sarah Arnoldi, director of the International Students Office, welcomed the newly arrived students. Afterwards, different units, student organizations and KIT programs presented themselves in ten minutes each. Among other things, the students heard more about the behavior in emergency situations. After a meet & greet, students had the opportunity to find out more about the House of Competence (HoC), the Buddy Program, the KIT Career Service etc. at information desks.
