EPICUR offers an easily accessible international experience for students that is free of charge, easy to combine with your own schedule, with access to ECTS credits. Virtual, physical, or anything in between: the possibilities at the EPICUR European University are endless for you to shape according to your ambitions and needs.

The European university alliance EPICUR, in which KIT is one of nine partner universities from seven countries of the European Union, was successful in the new call for proposals from the European Commission as part of the "European Universities" initiative in the Erasmus+ program.

You can choose from a wide range of courses in the field of Language & Culture, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Language Training for Mobility, and programmes related to environmental issues, sustainable development and European identities.

A new application period is open from August 24 until the  September 18, 2022.

From 16 May to 13 June, all EPICUR students will be able to register for the courses offered for the next winter semester.

To find out about the courses and how to register, we invite you to two information meetings on Zoom on 16 May 2022 at 5:00 pm (CET) and on 24 May 2022 at 10:00 am (CET).

Days before the announcement of the Leibniz Prize 2022, we at EPICUR had the opportunity to speak with Prof. Arneth about her research and her participation in our second EPICamp, which centred on “Sustainability, Material Use, and Climate Justice”.

Early Career Researchers from the EPICUR alliance and beyond are cordially invited to use the fifth EPICamp “Sustainable cities and regional transitions. Illuminating city-hinterland co-evolutionary relationships”, which will take place virtually on March 31st and April 1st 2022, as a platform to exchange views, connect, and network across disciplines, research areas, and country borders.

Registration to participate with an active contribution to the event is open until March 7th, 2022.
