The International Coffee Breaks are the perfect place for students who want to go abroad and for international students who want to get settled in Karlsruhe.

 

Information about exchange programmes and stays abroad, networking, getting in touch with important persons at KIT and much more!

 

From 5 to 15 May 2025, without obligation, free of charge, with a good cup of coffee or tea and with a different focus every day.

Doing your PhD at KIT: Information about the doctorate at KIT

 

The decision to pursue a doctorate raises many questions: What are the admission requirements? What types of PhDs are available? How do I find a topic? Who will supervise me? As the central institution for early-career support, Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists (KHYS) is the point of contact for advising prospective and current doctoral candidates at KIT. This talk provides an overview of all information related to the doctorate at KIT, including the necessary formal steps that are important before, during, and at the end of your doctorate, and also informs about funding programs offered by KHYS.
