Eucor Newsletter
On this page, you can sign up for our newsletter to receive information about new content on our info server or unsubscribe from it.
Both subscribing and unsubscribing are processed through a so-called double opt-in procedure.
This requires you to first enter your email address. After clicking the "Subscribe" or "Unsubscribe" button, you will see a status message confirming the receipt of your request. You will receive a message at the provided email address within the next 2-10 minutes. This email will contain a link that you must click to complete your subscription or unsubscription. Only after this are you definitively subscribed or unsubscribed.
Information according to Article 13 GDPR
General notes on data protection, particularly regarding the responsible party and your rights as a data subject, can be found in our privacy policy:
For managing the newsletter, providing your email address is necessary. Otherwise, sending or unsubscribing from the newsletter is not possible. When entering an email address during newsletter registration, it is stored in a database of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology along with a code, the status of the registration, the date of entry, and the validity of the email address. If you click the link in the email you receive to confirm your subscription, the code in the database is overwritten with the date of confirmation.
The data will be stored until you unsubscribe or the invalidity of the email address is determined due to undeliverability. When unsubscribing via our websites, the aforementioned date of confirmation in the database is overwritten with a code.
Your email address will be disclosed to those technically involved in the dispatch (especially email providers). Furthermore, we do not share your email address with third parties and use it exclusively for sending the Eucor newsletter.
The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.
You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the processing based on consent until the revocation is not affected.
